What it is
The NWS-CE1 through-bolt expansion anchor by Bossong is a mechanical anchor designed for structural applications in cracked and uncracked concrete, made of galvanised steel to ensure durability and corrosion resistance. Ideal for fixing heavy loads, the system is certified for seismic categories C1 and C2 and provides fire resistance, making it suitable for civil, industrial and infrastructure building. The range includes diameters from M8 to M27 and variable lengths to suit different installation thicknesses.
Heavy-duty fixings are steel or reinforced nylon anchors that carry high loads in concrete and solid masonry.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for mechanical fixing of structures and components to walls, ceilings and floors and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill with a bit of the specified diameter to the required depth, then clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump. Insert the anchor through the part to be fixed, hammering it in if necessary, and tighten the nut with a torque wrench to the torque specified by the manufacturer. Observe the minimum edge distances and spacings stated in the technical data sheet.
